I learn that gel elctrophoresis is a science technology that deals with DNA and procedures used to separate and analzye DNA fragments.
I learned that in order to do gel electrophoresis, after I cut the DNA using restriction enzyme the first step is to put restriction enzyme in the gel and second step is to put the gel and restriction enzyme in the machine to separate the DNA bands.
Smaller pieces goes to the bottom and the longer pieces goes to the top.
A scientist can use the gel electrophoersis to find the birth child parent or to find the parent child and to solve criminal cases.
